Toni 09 is the beginning of a new era. Music is an universal idiom made by our feelings and thoughts. Our thoughts determine the present and future of what is contained within our lives. It’s all about our choices.

This release is Andreae and Hugo’s vision of which will be next step. The best way to predict the future is to create it.

Our beliefs about who we are and what is real are not simply observations, but rather form ourselves and our realities.The universe is best seen as constructed from ideasvrather than from substance.

Our thoughts define what is, while our feelings, our emotions, are the energetic source, the engine, the primer, which manifests our chosen reality.

Toni 09 provides a picture of our emotions in desiring any given reality, the greater the likelihood of that reality predominating over other possibilities.

Toni 06 is made by fourteen different artists, a compilation of fresh tunes assembled after a couple of months of dangerous research and experiments. During all this period Toni was looking for different solutions against one of the most powerful enemy of human being: the pigeon.

The journey started from one simple assumption, killing pigeons is only a very short term solution; many studies have shown that the culled pigeons will usually be replaced within months if not weeks. The best solution is usually ‘roost modification’ (doing something to a surface so that the problem pigeons no longer want to roost on it).

But roost modification is always an expensive and non-aesthetic solution. With it’s distinctive sound, the fellowship of the pigeon, will bring to Toni’s people the definitive solution to pigeon’s invasion. Just turn on the speakers, pump up the volume and the pigeon will fly away.

P.S. In several cases the pigeon has a strange reaction. Después de un tremendo Lp electro-punk de manos de Comadisco que nos dejó a todos con la boca abierta por ser un trabajo que nadie esperaba en el sello italiano, vuelve Tonimusic con nueva referencia pero esta vez ya más acorde a lo que es su estilo habitual hasta ahora.
5 canciones minimal techno con un toquecillo funk que le da un aire diferente a lo que solemos escuchar en este género, música divertida y moderna en la que se apartan un de poco los clics y chasquidos, aunque también hay, para darle mayor relevancia a otro tipo de sonidos menos explotados como las voces, espacios con melodía e incluso efectos cercanos al noise.
Muy buena rel, de lo mejor que he escuchado en minimal techno últimamente, recomendable 100%.

Before the computer was even known to common households, certain sharing networks already existed. At that time Titta was already thinking about how gorgeous can be to touch and play some good old vinyl record.

When Philips introduced the compact audio cassette, blank cassettes were sold in incredible numbers. Their reusability, and the option to record music onto them, made cassette tapes the easiest way to copy, save and share music with friends.

After that music had definitively changed. Some people argue that it was around this time, in which people could record and mix themselves, that crossover music was born.

The record starts with dark atmospheres expressed by first track “we have to change the club” that sounds almost like a suggestion. With “forgive u s” the rhythm become deeper and melodies go under hypnotic frames. “go on” has already been chosen as a naughty alcoholic hymn, perfect for whistling sessions while taking a shower. Somebody from the crew told us that is great to sing it during a never ending journey in skyscraper’s elevator. Last track is a gift to all the freezing pets of the world. “the dog is freezing”…listen and warm up!.

Nowadays music has become a digital fluid, an instrument of cross-fertilization between media, genres, cultures, arts and sounds, supporting the intrinsic idea that the free flow of information results in better products.
