DIOM: He started his way through music as an notoric freestyle rapper with his crew freak botique. For some years, nothing was more important than jumping on stages and holding micropones. Sadly he realised a strong negative change in the szene and he finally moved to his second love: Drum and Bass.

Producing his own tunes became very important and the first Dj gigs happen. But he still wasn¦t satisfied because the field of (basically electronic) music is so big - right? Electro, minimal, maximal…as wide as his taste in music is, so are the styles of his tunes.

He is also one part of Duo Debilo, together with m2n. They create tracks with the aim to involve the listener into the music.

Esta rel debe de ser lo más duro que han publicado en Satellit hasta el día de hoy, aunque hace tanto tiempo que no tenía noticias del sello que casi ni recuerdo cuál era “su estilo”. Aún así lo que está claro es que con este ep se han lanzado de lleno hacia el minimal techno más cañero, y desde luego han acertado. Excelente trabajo.

m2n, bio:
m2n, living in a small town near M³nster, is coming up with some excellent minimal tracks for your pleasure. Being a wizard on his Virus and EMX-1, he creates reduced tunes packed with little soundbits and deep electronic funk.

Together with Diom they formed up Duo Debilo bringing you some tasty electronic songs. From minimal voice tracks up to electronic cutup, nothing is left untouched as long as it feels right!

SATELLIT is sending out new frequencies from outer space. On number 003 m2n presents his latest definition of minimal soundarchitecture.

The first track called ‘Etage 1′ comes in a clipped manner but nevertheless it rolls round in a funky way. The main track of the EP is the second one.

‘Etage2′ plays with microhouse elements with a surprising uprising synthpart in the 2/3 of the track.

‘Aufwarts’ has a pumping beat with touch of rave. The last one takes the listener in a kind of dark and weird world of minimal techno.
