Back with his promise; Twin Tower Connection is back to give us more abstract funk and as always he does it in fine fashion. Homegrown is more versitile than previous releases by T.T.C. The first three tracks are funky tech-house bombs that have heavy rolling basslines layered with dark shuffling melodies.
The forth track “Kopfsache,” is very experemental and is more influenced by breakbeat but fused very well with a nice minimal techno vibe. To bring things home, T.T.C. drops a nice head boppin’ trip-hop track at the end. featuring some nice slick melodies with a smooth bassline to boot.
Another experemental EP done in only a way Twin Tower can do it. Enjoy.

After heating things up on our brother netlabel; Dobox Recordings, Jemset makes his debut appearance on Random Access Recordings with raw fresh tech-house melodies. Strongly influenced by the sounds of Detroit, Random Access Recordings and Dobox are perfect fits for his sound.
This up and coming French producer brings a welcoming sound with an original approach. It is great to have the opportunity to contribute more than the usual minimal techno sound to netlabel listeners and bring about fresh new ideas to the masses.
Sometimes it is important to look at where we come from in order to know where we are going!!! Go to the netlabel page to download for free now. Enjoy!!!

Twin Tower is back again with more experimental electro funk. This one fuses classic dance pop, minimal, and electro-house. Twin Tower is always coloring outside of the envolope and we like that. Its different, its funky, its experemental, its tempermental, its TTC.
We like to say that Twin Tower has a genre of his own as he takes in many influences and mixes them all together and gives you music like you never heard. Enjoy this bit of electro funk. This one is definitely for the open minded and sometimes we have to go there. Its all about variety!!!

DJ Larix is up next in our netlabel section fusing together hard bangin’ techno with groovin and bouncy tribal funk. This EP is entitled “Now or Never” and really paints a great picture of those dirty warehouse days in Detroit where on any given night you would hear such legends as Jeff Mills, Derrick May, Carl Craig, or Kevin Sanderson.
This young Polish producer is already gaining respect the world over by such greats as Submerge 101 and AEOD just to name two. His last release on Encode Records created quite a buzz amongst techno heads. Go to the netlabel section and download this one for free. Enjoy!!!

Choenyi makes his long awaited debut appearance on RaR with 6 fresh new experimental minimal tracks.
This release entitled; “Transfer Protocol,” features heavy layered rolling bass grooves that is catered directly to all you bass junkies, stired by carefully focused background bleeps, clicks, pops, and and drops, touched by pure minimal funk synth repetitve stabs that makes you want to jack all night.
This is a bit more experimental than the other releases by Choenyi on Yuki Yaki, but still has that warm rhythmic sublime flavor that we are all very familar with.
Unique, creative, moody, funky, groovin’, jackin’; we love it, and we hope you do too. Also, look for a future release by Choenyi on Italo Business. Enjoy!!!

Back again is netlabel veteran and head of Edensonic Records; Strial to bring you his first EP on RaR and the hardest techno release yet on this label.
This release entitled “Workaholic” is filled with hard percussive arrangements, filled with psyched out Detroit style synth stabs, drowned over mysterious back drop, and sometimes acid type style melodies and pads.
As with all his other releases, Strial gives us style, character, and soul by the pound! This EP couldn’t have had a better name, because this is exacly what Strial is, “a workaholic.” While being a successful scientist in the field of medicine, Strial has managed many artists on his own label www.edensonic.com, which has become an icon in the netlabel scene for the genre of techno.
Strial has also helped RaR behind the scenes too, providing priceless advice and direction. He has helped me (Marcus Watkins) not only grow as an director to this label, but has also opened my mind a dj, a producer, a person, and most importantly as a friend.
It can truely be said that Random Access Recordings would not be here if it were not for Strial. Strial is one of the most versitle artists in the netlabel scene and this release is a very special one starting a long series of hard techno bangers from this true master at ” WORK”… ENJOY!!!

Our next release is from the man we call Twin Tower Connection, and is entitled; “Electronic Rocka”. Straight out of Zweibrücken, Germany; T.T.C. is always digging deep into the world of experimentation. This release falls somewhere inbetween electro-house, glitch, and minimal techno.
However, with a style smililar to no one. Bass-heavy, hard, and concrete at times, while scupting melodic, electronic, dark tech-house style bass lines at others; this release helps define theversitility of our artists. T.T.C. is one of our most verstile artists, as we’ve heard tracks of many a different kind from his end. He is dedicated to being original.
We love it when artists think and create outsite the box, (still sounding musical ofcoarse, though we understand art is a subjective thing.) This release is filled with lots of layers, songs are sequenced in a pretty simplistic mannner, while dilivering wild, minimal like effects to add interest.
More danceable than some other tracks that Twin Tower has produced, but stilled has his signiture warped, off step-experimental funk sound. This is a release you have to check out. Very different from most and has lots of character. This electronic really does rocka!!!.

After a nice summer break, and a successful release from Yan Ots, Random Access is ready to come back full strength with our next offering which is from west coast techno veteran Derek Scott.
Derek Scott aka The Rhythmist is from San Jose, California and has set standards with his releases on commercial labels; Silent Records, Trax Cafe Recordings, and Resource Records, and has also delivered goods on netlabels such as; Seedsound and his own very well respected Dobox Recordings.
Derek’s production is strongly influenced by the classic Detroit techno sound and offers pure musical abstractness with deep and shuffled grooves, layered with abstract textures, and funky, disjointed melodies that one could say has has a futuristic quality to it.s
This one is entitled the “Tomorrow EP” and as the name suggests; each track fuses futuristic sounds with hinted retro style percussional arrangements. Derek just comes with his usual hard driven, straight to the point, in your face, hard nose techno. So go grab this foot-stomper/head-banger if you dare. This is coffee with no cream or sugar folks!!!

Random Access Recordings proudly presents our first compilation entitled Warped Dimensions. Warped Dimensions is a project from various Random Access artists displaying versatility, skills, and some tracks that are far from the norm. This release is a very moody one; starting off with Strial and Tioneb who many of you may know from Edensonic dropping some hard, slammin’ techno.
To calm things down a bit we have what you all have ask for, Mr. Ben Crea. Here he gives us another goody, this one being of the electro-house variety with some crazy wierded out funky vocals. Another Hit that should excite the DJs. From there you will get Hakim Murphy giving us some retro style tech-house right to Marcus Watkins and Twin Towers popping and cutting with some glitch style tracks hinting towards minimal house.
Finally we have Kopasetik giving us some electronic funk chill-out. These Downtempo tracks are will definitely have your head bobbing and foot stumpping with his rollin’ ass kickin’ bass kicks over his sweet heavinly melodic I want to love everything and everyone swooshing pads. A Contrast for sure. But trust me, once you hear these tracks you will see why they say opposites attrack. He brings these elements together well. This compilation truely does show our artists versatility and we love it when producers and musicians alike color outside the box. This release holds something for every mood.
