This time Playmod release a deep trip: clip-clopping beats slinked to a fluctuating watery bassline (Madmen have no sympathetic poems), an instrumental side with acoustic guitar synths (Lola there´s a butterfly), also noisy backgrounds mixed up with dry snarehats (Ili) V-Sexion makes the trip even deeper with fulffy low-end dynamics and glitchy jazz vocal bits, Bubbaloop keeps developing his passion for techno underscore suggestive pitch-shifted vocals.

Christian Szer swims towards minimal glitchy sounds fusionated with experimental sound sequences, he also adds a dark integrated background, turning the track into a fusionated piece.

Sven Laux examined it sound by sound, and constructed a nostalgic deep dubby techno trip with a touch of glitch, sure. Afterwards, we´ll remain an openminded position, cause Wub Wub brings out a special exploding remix only for d & b and dubstep fans!!. Foam show us how to get deep into a bassline and forget about the world combined with really dark ambiance and a neural trippy feeling.

And For the last track Medu brings the dancefloor to your feet, a monster bassline guides the track that’s gonna make you move your hips and head around flowing around witch glitches and snares.

For those who doesn’t know the meaning of miniatura : Etymology. From the Italian miniatura (manuscript illumination), from miniare (to illuminate), from the Latin minia-re (to colour red), from minium (red lead).

Adjective. miniature (comparative more miniature, superlative most miniature) Smaller than normal. To celebrate our first year online, we got together many different approaches all refer to minimal concept experimenting samples to construct new pieces in the truly independentexistence of the sounds.

Through this last year we could get into many different concepts of minimalism, mixed with banging techno dancefloor, glitchy smooth, dub beats, among others… We wanna thank our artists that came together with this project, they all have a place in our mini-crew called Miniatura, and of course.

Mirco Violi was born in Italy (Milan) the 9/6/1986.

Everything started when he was 14 while listening to Frankie Knuckle, Dave Morales and Maw’s sets. Real House music appeared for him in the 90’s.Afterwards he got to know Lerry Levan, the immortal dance music icon. His style has been influenced by those funky and disco beats. As he turned 17 I began getting closer to the techno sounds thanks to Dave Clarke, Jeff Mills, Chris Liebing, Marco Carola, Adam Beyer and his idol… Richie Hawtin.

Approaching to Richie’s style I discovered the minimal beat and artist, for example Ricardo Villalobos, Magda, Jorge Savoretti, Damian Schwarz, Mikael Stavostrand, Lucien N Luciano and many many others mnml artist. Now i follow this type of sound from a lot of time because this sound gives to me several attractive feelings. Last but not least I consider music as an art, not as a business.

Nowadays he’s playing together with his beatpartner dj Fill in several clubs of Milan.The two of them use digital technologies such as final scratch or m-audio torq support with decks & laptop + fx and offering a unique minimal techno sound.
