Yosuke Kamihigashi, a.k.a, acht. Born in Tokyo Japan, 8th August 1983. His interests towards Art was awakened and stimulated by being close to his grandmother who was an Ikebana instructor.

He started to study in art school to explore the ‘essense of expression’ and there he encounters ‘Minimal Art’. Touhaku Hasegawa, Frank Stella, Mark Rothko and Christian Boltanski, are some of the artists that influenced him greatly. He also respects a techno music DJ, Richie Hawtin.

By listening to the tunes that played in the club, he was given a hint of ‘self expression’ within his music. In 2004, he started his carrier as a DJ as well as being a painter. After his graduation in 2007, he started to compose. Today, he puts all his energy to shape his view, principle and thoughts as art works and sounds.

Maximiliano Magnano (aka Gris) bio was born in Buenos Aires, on March 30th, 1989, he has developed an intense attraction towards music ever since he was a child. Mostly due to his father’s influence, he has been in contact with Rock music since early ages.

Throughout the years, he showed interest also in Jazz music, Progressive Rock, and many other styles including even Heavy Metal music and it’s many variations, leading him to take part in several bands, learning to play different instruments.

His later years saw him connected to a darker side of music, by getting into bands such as The Cure, Joy Division and Depeche Mode, just to name a few. By the end of the year 2006, and throughout 2007, he started digging into techno music, discovering this whole new genre.

So it’s the mixture of these two elements (a taste for gloomy and dark music, and his fascination with techno music) that have set the basics of his mostly darkened and experimental sound.

María Belén Salinas Médici aka Belu, was born on May 6th 1988 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. As a young child she had a straight contact with various kinds of music: from Punk Rock, Heavy Metal, Rock & Roll to Classic Music like Beethoven, Chopin, Mozart. Finally she gets to know a little bit more of that sense and feelings from the beats and sounds with electronic music and falls in love with this genre.

Approximately when Belen turns 16 years old she began to go to parties and clubs where she knew the House music, Break Beat, Electro, Techno and all their styles which later would gave rise to the other genres. It took her many years to realized that she found the perfection of the essential, striped melodies and other artistics elements as in music like in Duchamp and his “Ready-made”.

He used to say “I don’t know what I had made, but it’s meaningful”. In that moment, under the circunstances of the enviroment, marked her life forever; she was interested in the most wonderful creation, where she found refuge of all her deepest feelings, where all she thought was real and normal, turnend into a different World, where all the sorrows were drown at the same time that all her happiness, but it had a opposition..

In spite of this, with all the right purposed, she always continued. She met great artists whose would motiveted furthermore and they’d tansform in directs influences. This is only the beginning of her great way, full of experiences, feelings and above all the things: “love-music”.

Danilo Cardace (AKA Cardo) is a young emerging artist from Cesenatico, Italy! At the age of 16, Cardo was fully dedicated to creating electronic music. In 2004 he started djing and performing live sets of minimal electro and minimal techno.

His sound has always been very dynamic and minimal extatic!- He worked for Italo Business, Royal Tek Records, Logical Musik, Autist, Sammeplatz and Autist!. Cardo and his friend Elia created “Audio Shooter”, Audio shooter sound is supported by many important djs. He founded a digital label with his friend Alex: Monofase Records.

David Tonspiel, a young german artist & dj presents his “Nachtschicht” “Night shift” EP as a netrelease on ItaloBusiness. From the meeting of (new) Wave & Industrial, he was attracted to techno music for the first time by listening to “Alter Ego - Nasty Dollars”.

From that on he was fascinated by electronic music, similarly the simplicity & the effect it causes. In the last two years he began producing digital music, which had the effect he was getting more & more into minimal (the charm of listening to a limited amount of sounds, instruments & possibiltys, but hearing and feeling nonetheless an absorbing track).

His tracks are based on a straight oppressive bass, impulsive percussion, often plastic noise sounds & using voice samples in an experimental way. But you’ll find a lot of creaking dirty synthies in there two, what creates a dark, more technoid atmosphere. Producing brought him to djing, playing own beats & samples and tracks of his friends & companions Schubert Schuhmann and Maximilian Hertz.

jonathan guidi, bio:
His Passion for music led his path towards djing at an early age of 12 where he took his first steps at djing in private parties. Today at 24 years of age, Jonathan succesfully acumulated dj battle triumphs from an early age of 15 where he was judged by prestigious artists from Argentina such as Hernán Cattáneo, Carlos Alfonsín, Gustavo Lopez, Diego Cid, Magoo, Diego Ro-k, Aldo Haydar, Boeing, Spitfire (Luis Nieva & Miguel Silver), Javier Bússola, Hugo Diaz, Juan Pryor and journalists, such as: Ernesto Martelli (Clarín), Constanza Bertolini (La Nación), Gustavo Alvarez Nuñez (Los Inrockuptibles) and Iojan (Buenos Aliens). Among his achievements, the world fame Heineken thirst (2004) and Dj contest SAMC 2007 (south american music conference) are listed within his list of successes.

Being judged by such infamous artists speaks highly of his talent, which sticks him out from the rest. His sets reveals dark sounds with groove and some melody. with minimal and techno styles. His presentations and residencies gave Jonathan lots of experience, sharing dj booths with known artists from Argentina from since he was 16, in important clubs such as Mint, Niceto Club, Chocolate (Mar del Plata), Tokio (Rosario), La Diosa, Midland, Mao Room and many others. Today his productions can be listened to in many sets from different artists who play profound, rithmical sounds with groove.

alberto santizzo, bio:
Guatemalan Dj/producer/sound engineer, at this moment resident at Mexico city. He started his dj career at the age of 19, playing on important gigs down in Guatemala. Now he is up to finish his practices of sound modeling and production technichs. In Guatemala, he has produced one of the best electronic music gigs such as the central american festival “Rave del Castillo”.

At the begging of this year 2007, Alberto Santizzo, starts to create his own music and to mix it in his dj sets. Its music like its musical selection as a dj, is a fusion between percutive instruments and fat basess, but simplicity on the melodic lines, having so, a hard intelligent style of techno. Recently, he is working on a live music performance called “Barrilete”, which will do a remixing parts live and combined live dj sets, besides of his production work that is going to be released on foreign labels.

Llufol, bio:
Born in Valencia (Spain), Luis Cordon, also known as Llufol, has always been in touch with technology. Around him there were usually all kind of electronic devices that induced him a great curiosity and attraction. In 2003 Llufol went deeply in computing, spending two years of his life researching this field. That coincided in time with the coming of electronic music to his life, that was so related with his passion by computers, which took him to enquire how to fuse them. His next challenge would be creating his own music.

This way, in 2005, he went to control-software and sequencers courses, where he started to learn about them, although it was one year later when he really took seriously his current musical project.

Since Autumn 2006, Llufol combines his Architecture studies in Valencia’s Technical College with his daily work as a producer. Along this time, he has introduced himself in the world that envolves the electronic stage and made him known on it. His performances could be seen and heard in some of the best Clubs of the province, as well as his productions, played by local DJ’s.

Nowadays he is focusing on develope a characteristic sound by experimenting with all kind of software, trying to transmit the firmness and the thoroughness of his music to the dance floor, without lefting beside his own personality.

Nonconformist referring to acoustic quality, and still with a long path to follow, in his Live Sets all kind of sounds can be noticed, allowing to recognize some Techno slopes, but without making a particular stylistic classification.

the elriks, bio:
The Elriks, the french duo of Lowni (Nicola Salvi) and Mtronom (Gaetan Rossi), was born in 2005. Nicola Salvi was born in 1980 in Marseille. Feeling interest in electronic music, he first started djing in 2001 and decided, step by step, to launch his own tracks. Gaetan Rossi was born in 1984 in Pertuis.

Since 2002, he expressed his passion for electronic music through dj-set but quickly discovered the way of producing his own tracks. Motivated by the simple desire to share music, today the Elriks play minimal-techno live acts.

Our trip in house music began in far 1989 when our strong friendship and our common love for club electronic music became a passion: dj! In this way began our story of the double dj set: we work in pair like we are an only one dj, we put on the stereo two viniles for all the length of our live set, so we are able to unite our musical preferences to make our nights full of energy! In these years the evolution of sound, rhythm, melody thrill us really a lot and make us listen and play different kind of music: acid house, techno detroit, underground, drum’n'bass,trip hop, progressive, deep house and electro techno.

The early equipment, early viniles, early nights in our zone’s club. Born as a sort of a game deeper and deeper our passion became a job, a job that brought us to work within djs and producers of national and international fame, and to co-operate with very important clubs like peter pan (riccione), ecu (rimini), pascia’ (riccione), classic club (rimini), les folies de pigalle (reggio emilia), prince (riccione), cocorico’ (riccione), matis (bologna), sophia (gabicce), wishclub afterhour (misano monte), cubadust storkino (milano marittima) and, of course, our favourite one: echoes liz music club (misano monte) where we are resident djs of the privè: cristal black.

After all these years of amusement, nights, afterhours, curiosity brought us to discover new ways, so we bought our first personal computer and sequencer and after two years, thanks to the collaboration of a great dj and producer (ricky montanari), we made our first single: ricky montanari presents dandi & ugo “beat conductor” (part 1 & 2) for the label “re vox” (ivano coppola a.r.), distributed from levelone. Thanks to the great results of this project we could meet and co-operate with artists like raymond barry (producer of electro house n.o.i.a., klein & mbo, funk revenge…) which whom we are co-operating nowaday.

We are also working with fabio carniel (multicolor records, dirty house, part one…), guido nemola (joyfull family), producers loaded and santorini, dj & great producer andrea bertolini (stereo seven plus label), dub recording label, luca de ponti (art director label), dj and producer timothy with his crew: the mood (steve and andy lee), dj and producer alex d’elia (looseheadz). Juan Manuel Abrigo also known as Nano!, was born in 1982 in Argentina. When he was 14 years old, started to play the guitar and listen a big number of discs.

Some years then, he discovered the computer world and the way of lisen and make music. In 2004, he saw with good face the idea of be a dj, and started to play in the most important clubs and bars of the city. Today, he is a software developer, dj and producer.

His musical likes go by a great quantity of styles, especially the minimalistic sounds. In his dj sets he tries to create a good atmosphere whit minimal, tech house and the sounds of future.

Fase is the aka for Gustavo Gagliardo, Leandro Waisbord, Pedro Perelman and Martin Tibabuzo. Fase means phase, and for sure this word becamed much more significant for us through time. As an art collective-visual crew we borned in 2000, in Buenos Aires, where westill live and have our operation’s base.

As producers, moving between techno, electro, minimal, it’s been always difficult to get fixed on a style. Always changing mind. But some sounds are still living on our music from the beginning. Tubes, water sounds, weird frequences, clicks, glitchs. Groove as a purpose, bassdrums and basses, main characters. Fat sounds and break beats, between 130 and 135 bpm. Melodys come from downstairs, noises from factories, dark sinthes and dirty sounds, no sugar. Detroit’s underground, Richie Hawtin and Laurent Garnier music as basic influences, but also Basquiat as an example to understand wich worlds we are sharing constantly.

We plan our music-visual sets, finding straight relationships between sounds and images, building “climas”, organic structures. Not as complement but as a main construction. Sequences are made exactly for the tracks. Working almost with graphic images and with fantasy as a topic, sinthesis or abstraction, powerful colors. Colors as lights, always on a proggressive way. Music representing images, images representing music.
