Format:C is Fräulein Rot MicroGhost aka Toxic D, a multicoloured DJ and producer team for electronic music. At the beginning 6 years ago we worked together as a DJ team, this artistic relationship advanced to a good collaboration with own productions.

The first ones were developed in 2003 till october 2006 in the Zughafen Erfurt and now we are going on producing in a collective surrounding…

The two Thuringians have been making music together for more than 10 years now. The electronic beats that began to emerge in the 90’s, and the technological advancements that have made it possible to make them yourself, provided a massive incentive to head in this direction. At first keyboards and guitars were used, but these have slowly but surely been replaced by electronic equipment.

The gradual collection of all sorts of beats and sounds has further advanced and enriched the buzz of making music. Today the two musicians win their listeners over with cracking baselines, imaginative sounds and full bass riffs. Their repertoire includes minimal sounds, electroclash and dark mysterious tracks that eagerly weave their way into the listener’s ear.

However, their music also provides subtle, harmonious passages that make a good contrast to the progressive feel of the rest of their material and enable listeners to calm down and relax before climbing back into a fuller, thumping sound. Their music has an additional flavour created by vocals and cracking, wafting tones, that enriches their sound and gives it polish.

All in all, there will be a lot more to come from these two. So get excited! But enough of words, because everyone knows that when the talking stops the music begins…

We say hello to our new artist and friend from maastricht/holland mr. Alexander jannink aka vanilladisiak with his debutt ep “rendezvous in september” he gave us 4 really great tracks, they are residing between the main-time and the afterhoure dancefloor’s on this world. So just taste it and love it.

Alexander Jannink, Bio
When he was only 2 years old, Alexander loved songs from Elton John and Paolo Conte. He used to turn up the volume every time these artists appeared on his mother’s radio. So eventually music has always been more or less significant for him. He also attented lessons in drums & percussion for a few years.

At the age of 10 he started listening to electronical music when he got his first record. In ‘98 he started playing with sounds on his first computer. He also started dj’ing on a local scale. He steadily developed his skills during the next few years. In the summer of 2003 he met Emanuele Cisotti, together they started the “D-Motion” studioproject. So far Alexander Jannink has done a couple of releases as “Vanilla Sandro” for his friend John Myres on “Jon7.net microlabel”.

Alexander’s style ranges from abstract noise to rhythmic, minimal house. Dynamic, rolling and pumping beats, crispy tweaks and clicks are his trademark.

B-Live also known as Stefan Barth loves to create electronic music since 1997.

His first Release ” Bass Player e.p.” was a collaboration with Ron Spirit. All 4 tracks are a awesome trip for his own with a special sound of minimal deepness and maximal effect.

This 2 guys comes from the upcoming scene city Leipzig. One part is a well known dj and the other part is a student. The tracks of “Autotrackas” are special trough the nice sound collection and the very loop based arangments.

The style is a mix between house and techno, with parts of dub; breakbeats; electro, and every time forward thinking.
