Two years of dreiton – right on time for this anniversary we present our windows - compilation that is more than just a best of album.

This album unites established artists like antonio bruno and dieter krause, as well as new artist like neal white (freizeitglauben, eintakt, opossumrec) and einklang freier frequenzen (eintakt).

10 tracks between dubtechno and elektronika which embody the philosophy of our label. This album paints blue and sunny skies with tracks suitable for dancing, alongside melancholic pieces.

Since a few years Nikolay Smirnov releases spherical tracks - based on harmoniously beautiful warm pads, dodgy rhythms und little melodies - under his project-name “Nitro”.

The tracks are enchanting through the purposeful use of the delays und changing tone qualities. This marvellous release is rounded off by the deep dubs acting in the background. Perhaps this is the right music to forget the world for a short moment around itself.

In order not to awake directly from this relaxed condition, there are still some remixes of Antonio Bruno, Dieter Krause, Dreiton and Nikolay Smirnov himself. Have fun….

At the end of the year 2006 dreiton.net is representing different projects and artists on the Compilation “Attack”.

They created great electronic music between Minimalism, Dub and Ambient. The Compilation is a small jubilee (DN 010). Artists like Chris Air, Dieter Krause (hidden-recording), Laplaceausoleil, Dominik Paß, Lars and Gunnar Hemmerling as well as Antonio Bruno and Frank Hellmond are represented.

All projects of this Compilation and all the others who released at dreiton.net in the last months helped to realise our philosophy and idea of spreading electronic music.

The latest dreiton.net release seems to be a bit different. The twins Lars and Gunnar Hemmerling, aka 4 creators (together with Telly Quin & Plastique from Einklang freier Frequenzen) and artists of the eintakt-label, present their stalker lp containing six minimal techno tracks for the peaktime.

With strong pressure the sounds are pushing over the dancefloor – techno in its best form! Each track of the release is unique and from high quality.

Acid-elements take turns with smooth expanses and abstract melodies - carried by perceptive but pumping beats. The idea, arrangement and mastering convinced me at once.

Antonio Bruno, member of the dreiton-community, now presents his follow up album after his debut “Fruhling” released in March this year. “Bleep” contains eight brand new tracks with the typical Bruno sound. Dubby elements meet minimal electronica, spiced with atmospheric sounds and warm basses.

Surely a highlight is “Collage” (schall-remix) - this track comes by with a real clarinet and a kind of jazzy and solemn grooves. Have fun! Frank Hellmond und Rene Kius.

Minimal, deep and with space for harmonies -a little bit like the valle verzasca- that’s the 6th release of dreiton.net. The ep was produced by chris air, producer and dj from basel.

In the last few years chris released some ep’s, for example by “neuronal networks” or “mo records”. In juni/july 2006 his ep gluecksscherben will be release by the berliner label “eintakt” www.eintakt.de

Additionally to his action as dj and producer, chris is a member of the “gl³cksscherben”-collective, which organizes party-events around basel www.gluecksscherben.ch

Panorama means overview, to be on top, having a look around. Which might be quite a great word for our first compilation, for this can always be just a moments record.

But how does this sound? So Panorama presents artists and projects from the international electronic music scene, e.g. the Spanish LuisOrtiz with LOD from sinergy networks www.sinergy-networks.com or Daniel Stefanik from the Leipzig based netlabel Instabil www.instabil.org All unite a tendency to reduction, to minimalism, to the essential. Therefore the eight tracks come along with a lot of atmosphere, space and deepness.
