The weather around here is warming up, and so will your speakers after you play this new release. French Techno maestro Jemset presents us with his ‘Untitled EP’.
But these beats are so good, the release really doesn’t even need a name. ‘Invitation’ is appropriately the first track, and gets things pumped up with its pulsing groove. Then it’s time to have a seat (or not) for the ‘Galactic Dinner’.
Thick and meaty, this tasty track will definitely feed your head and your feet. Jemset definitely brings his own style to the Techno table, and we’re sure you will all agree that it’s a style worth listening to. Enjoy!

This is a great Techno 4-tracker from the Russian secret weapon, Vadz. ‘Abstraction EP’ is an intense sonic journey that’s full of powerful synths and sharp percussion. Rubetz also joins in the fun with a remix of the title track. Definitely a release not to miss.

‘Lookin’ To The Perspective’ is the second release on DoBox from Ilya Bataman, and it’s four great tracks of his unique style of Techno. The opening track ‘Spell Of Dub’ is deep yet intense. The tempo slows a bit with ‘Enlightened Love’ and ‘Sometimes’. ‘My Way’ sits nicely somewhere in the middle with its lively and upbeat sound. It appears as though Ilya has a good perspective on music.

We’ve got another new artist to add to the DoBox roster, and he goes by the name of Console (aka DJ Corrupt). Hailing from the Russian city of St. Pertersberg, he presents a banging yet cereberal sound on his new release ‘Kamora EP’.
The first track ‘Preview’ starts things off deep and throbbing, but the vibe gets progressively more intense with each track. ‘Toy Shop’ finishes the job with its hypnotic sounds and a thundering distorted kick. Check it out for yourself, and enjoy!

Ilya Bataman brings us another slice of great Techno from the Russian scene in the form of ‘First Steps’ Impressions’.
It’s a perfect blend of new school and old school styles. These tracks bring a significant amount of bump, and contains layer upon layer of textural moodiness.
Any DJ should have fun putting these in the mix, and any listener should expect to find themselves dancing.

Steve Cooley is back with a new release of banging techno, two tracks of which were created in preparation for his live performance at AVA2006. Most of these tracks begin on his Treo 650, using Bhajis Loops, and then progress through GarageBand and Logic Express. Other techniques involve harvesting glitch and audio ephemera from nature and unnatural sources. The style is layered up from the base of beats, effects, sounds from space, people on the street, everyday snippets of the sounds around us. But don’t forget the beats. This is a 4-track pounder.
“I like to combine the natural sounds that constitute found audio from the real world and world of what my computer can give me. I like layering up filters and effects in a similar way to photoshop to achieve similar textural results. This release is a field report from my explorations on the fringe of where beat-driven music grows.”

Everyone has their own sound, and we would like to present to you the sound of Arturo Garces. Thick shuffled rhythms and deep heavy grooves can be heard on every track.
The only exception to that is “Expanding Time” which offers a smooth interlude between the first and second halves of the release.
Of course, words never do any justice to the music, so take a listen for yourself…we’re sure you’ll dig on it.

After taking some time to work on other projects and launching the netlabel Diggarama, bLURiX is back again for another release here on DoBox Recordings.
“Velvetine” has special meaning to bLURiX. It was originally going to be release on a different label, but since the label wanted bLURiX to alter his original before they would release it he decided to take it elsewhere where he could present this music the way it was intended to be heard.
We here at DoBox understand this, and are proud to present the original “Velvetine” to you. Enjoy!.

The duo of Dip present us with a fine release of Techno and Tech-House titled “Illusions”. Listening to these trax really take the listener on a journey. One could easily imagine a sun-soaked scene with a dj playing them next to a swimming pool or at the beach.
But it’s also not hard to visualize a night-time club scene with these trax pumping from the wall of speakers. No matter which scene you prefer (even if it’s none of the above), you’ll be sure to enjoy these grooves.
