Style: detroit techno, tech-house, minimal, deep
4 New trax from Frenchman Elexx for Edinburgh based netcollective AVXR. Touching on deep house, detroit grooves and sprinklings of minimal/glitch this EP presents an overall charm in it’s melodic and upbeat feel with some massive hooks which wouldn’t be out of place on a more commercial release.
Patrick Walker turns in a more edgy take on life cycles; a tumbling, micro/electro fusion with gritty analogue growls and deep aquatic chords. This is the ideal compliment to any summer shakedown.

Style: minimal, reggae dub
Mek Dub Not War comes courtesey of Avionix’s newest Act : (i)sodyne, born of Walker’s facination with dub/reggae and electronic dub.
This EP pushes real analogue bass sounds with a live electronic feel fusing deep reverberated chords, real analogue/tape delay and a driving tech_house riddem section, generally the tracks were recorded in one take with all of the manipulation you hear being twisted up live.
