Aún hay pocos netlabels que se decanten por este género de manera habitual por lo que es un gusto, a mediados de cada mes, siempre tener asegurado un poquito de techno. Antes esto sólo pasaba con offaudio pero desde hace un tiempo se unió también a las trincheras Antiritmo.

Greencross repite en el sello madrileño tras una colaboración en junio de 2007. Un ep rozando el hardtechno en determinados momentos el que destacan sobremanera efectos y samples propios de géneros como la electrónica o incluso el noise, creando un ambiente sugestivo e hipnótico. Genial el min 3 de “Ironhide”.

“He is from Hokkaido Sapporo city on Japan. He began his music career at 1997 with influences from big artists like Juliana Tokyo, The Prodigy, Ken Ishii and Fumiya Tanaka since his school period.

He grew influenced quickly by the Ambient music, Soul, Breakbeat, Acid Trance and more recently by the most broken and minimalist sounds of the present time.

The Barcelona clubbing scene and as well in his native city, Girona, were the cradle where he began to mix his own tracks in many little clubs of the town. At start of the year 2006 he perform his first live act under the name ‘Dosem’.

The proved success was great because in a short time he started to perform in the most important clubs of the zone, like Blau Club or Rachdingue.

Buenas, esto si que no me lo esperaba yo hoy domingo, “el día de” Antiritmo y Offaudio suele ser lunes, además hace muy poco habían sacado la 23 y con tanta música ya no recordaba el primer volumen del “maximize” de enero de este mismo año.

La compilación es perfecta, me ha sorprendido para bien ver a Lagora fuera del contexto Rumpfunk, que es su netlabel habitual, aunque por suerte también le pudimos tener en Alquimia. Me gustan todos los tracks, quizás la versión original de “terre erre”, por su estilo menos, pero sin embargo Javier ha salido sacarle partido y ha hecho un gran remix.

Sr Click cada vez más moderno, Choenyi en su línea experimental aunque esta vez más bailable, Hermético y su mezcla habitual de electrónica oscura y minimal techno, Dejersey bajando un poco los bpm con un track más melódico y finalmente Banding más cercano al techno que los demás. Vaya repaso jajaja.

El único pero es que se me hace corto jajaja, todo lo contrario que la mayoría de recopilatorios que se publican hoy en día en los que hay mucha canción pero la calidad brilla por su ausencia. Aquí no hay relleno.

Raul Mezcolanza was born in Barcelona in the year 1980. He started spinning records 15 years after. Since then, he developed his skills by playing many different styles of electronic music.

At the early age of 16, he was already resident dj playing house and progressive music at the club La Festa (one of the best clubs in Catalonia by that times).

Four years after (2000) he discovered the strong potential of Techno music. Style that defines perfectly his way to be. Since then year after year he´s been supported and respected by loads of different crowds doing his best job.

“Ivar Oh! is Ivar Boson, to some also known as Smekbar. Ivar was born ‘84 and raised in Southern Sweden and currenly resides in Malm÷. He started producing electronic music at the age of twelve, and hasn’t stopped since.

He’s been moving from genre to genre to find his own sound, and after living in Berlin for 3 months he was hooked on the minimal sound. He grabbed the parts he liked and incorporated them in his already own style of techno.

Ivar has previously released techno as Smekbar on Giant and Dwarf Records and Fast Food records. ”
