Este chico cada vez produce cosas más raras pero lo que está claro es lo polifacético que puede llegar a ser, para muestra el segundo track, totalmente house, aunque siempre suele tirar más hacia el minimal con cierto regustillo experimental. Me gusta como produce últimamente sobretodo porque lo que arriesga. El último track “60s” es muy original.
Hugoboy kicks off 2008 with an energetic, let alone house-ish release. what a twist! the (finally) normal-lenght tracks appear to be dj and season friendly.. in the first two tracks, ris and sweet pepper, emotions flow like the melting snow on the sidewalks in this time of year.
On the other hand, 60s acts like some strange curse of african origin, composed of rattling, beeping, meowing sounds and some guy speaking like he was on drugs. what he says, or more important, means, is a question of personal taste and private solutions.
