In celebration of our 1 year anniversary, we are very proud to bring you anniSTIRsary vol 1 - random remixes. This compilation was built on the concept of randomly assigned remixes and includes the work of core StirSound family members, as well as friends new and old. Tracks from nearly every one of our releases to date were hand selected and assigned for remix by pulling names out of a hat. Just like the larger part of our catalog, there is a variety and solid production oozing from this one.

The artwork was done by our favorite feline friend Boo, always a pleasure to work with. His work can also bee seen on Jon Doe’s ‘The Babbo Ep’ and ‘The Babbo Remixes’ as well as Sarah Goldfarb’s ‘Calling You’ and April Vallen’s ‘Secret Police’.

The release is joined with a special mix by DJ L’embrouille.

Buenas, hace muchísimo tiempo que no tenía noticias de este netlabel, de hecho lo último que añadí fue en abril del año pasado.

Con esta rel hasta última hora he estado indeciso esencialmente porque hay varios temas house quizás demasiado clásicos para el estilo del blog pero como la calidad de la producción y en general, su sonido, es tan bueno… no he querido dejarla de lado, además no sólo de minimal techno vive el hombre.

Hay varias joyas para los amantes del deep y el house atmosférico que os encantarán y no digo más

Buenas, silenzio.tv cumple un año de vida y para celebrarlo han preparado este recopilatorio con caras muy conocidas por todos nosotros como Titta de Tonimusic o Dario Zenker que ha colaborado en sellos tan importantes como Unfound o Igloo.

Una vez más una compilación que gira en torno al minimal techno, parece ser que es la moda últimamente, aunque como sé que os gusta… aquí está.

Hay varios temas interesantes pero el de “dilo vs solo tempo”, para mi gusto, creo que supera la media, es flipante el desarrollo y la progresión del track durante los 9 min que dura, de menos a más constantemente. Bueno, felicidades por el cumple.

Oh Dios!, esto aunque no lo parezca es la primera rel de “31337 Records”, asombrosa la fuerza con la que despegan algunos netlabels hoy en día, espero que en el futuro no decaiga el nivel como he visto en otros sellos.

Ante mastodontes así cualquier cosa que diga se queda corta, pero sí tengo que destacar, por ser la cara más popular del recopilatorio, la presencia de “Someone Else”… aunque su track es un poco flojo. Resumiendo… 17 canciones que giran en torno al minimal techno, deep, un poquito de electrónica y hasta alguna rareza reggae-dub. De todo, para todos.

Munich/Berlin, Germany, May 23, 2007: The young Netlabel 31337 Records is releasing its first Various Artists compilation today on their Website http://www.31337records.com Featuring such great artists as Someone Else, Katzo, Sebastian Herre, Mike Wall, DEN, 0×7f, Sebastian Koch and many more.

The compilation is split into two parts of which the first one is more club oriented - pounding and very subtle minimal techno -, while the second part is perfect chill-out material.

This collection of tunes is not your average Netlabel release but a promising start for a young, fresh and exciting label.

31337 Records was founded in early 2007 by Stefan Klaas, Sebastian Koch and Philip Steger. They used their years of experience in the club scene, both as artists and part of the crowd, and their passion for minimalistic music to create an outstanding new label in a short period of time. The result is an awesome mix of floor filling minimal techno and deep melodic tracks with a great selection of international artist.

Buenas, hacía tiempo que no visitaba este netlabel y hoy, al entrar en su página web, me he llevado la sorpresa al encontrarme con este recopilatorio.

Un lp en el que reúnen a distintos artistas que ya habían colaborado con el sello, como Ampexx, Damián Otero o Deep Haki, referencias que también podéis encontrar en el blog, junto a alguna cara nueva que imagino que representa el futuro más inmediato del sello.

Aunque prima el minimal techno también hay un hueco para la electrónica más glitch e incluso algún tema más cercano al deep, con vocal incluido, como el delicioso track de “Deep Haki”.

Posdata: la descarga va muy lenta, así que tened paciencia

DCC2RNT so lautet der Name des neusten Releases, entstanden aus einer Kooperation zwischen DCC und Rentnerrecords.
