Bio: Im Sternzeichen des Löwen geboren,war Stefan Barth aka B.Live, seit jeher ein Mensch, der immer versucht hat,sein Umfeld zu begeistern. Am Ende seiner pubertierenden Entwicklungsphase, Mitte der Neunziger,entdeckte er die Welt der Videogames-Konsolen und der ersten Home-Pc..s für sich.

Durch die damaligen Impressionen der Klangwelt, jener Unterhaltungsmaschinerie, begann er sich dafür zu interessieren wie diese Klänge erzeugt und arangiert wurden. So nahm sich das Schicksal Zeit und verhalf ihm zu einem Amiga 500 mit dem Sequenzer “Oktalyzer”, welches ihm ermöglichte erste Schritte in punkto Soundsampling und Arangement aus zu probieren. Dies fazinierte und beschäftigte ihn so sehr, das er Ende der neunziger bereits einige Liveauftritte” absolvierte.

Da die Szene noch jung war, waren einige seiner Auftritte in abgelegenen Kellern und Bunkern. Stefan entwickelte sich und fand seine Liebe zur Musik und schraubte nächtelang an seinen Geräten herum und vergaß dabei manchmal Zeit und Raum.

Es folgten Liveübertragungen im Radio bis hin zu Auftritten im Großraum Erfurt. Stefan’s größter Wunsch ist es sich auf einem echten Vinyl zu verewigen…

Being that foundsound and unfoundsound were launched and nurtured in philadelphia, it’s only appropriate that we give you a new chapter to our “location series” – a compilation of tracks from philly artists entitled philly time. You get a whopping 13 tracks (woohoo!) illustrating the vast diversity that philly artists have to offer.

The list of artists ranges from veterans to newcomers.
