Automaton welcomes three new artists to stratagem, and includes more dubby, minimal and melodic tracks from dedicated minimal electronic music producers worldwide.The compilation opens with a mellow and melodic click house track, our second release from japanese artist and bumpfoot netlabel founder tatsu. Stratagem’s colloborative netaudio project encrypted follows with a creative production that features a vocal sample of dick cheney warning of danger.

The third track is the first release from the prolific toronto based dj and producer eliot lazor, watch out for more hard hitting minimal tech from lazor in the future. Calgary based producer neighbor follows with what can certainly be described as one of the marquee tracks featured on stratagem to date. Stratagem founder adaptive includes the title track “automaton” at number 6, more of the unique and creative style we have come to expect from him.

With a warm welcome, vancouver based producer xyn contributes “tranquility (acid edit)” an aptly titled track. The compilation closes with the atmospheric, percussive, layered melodies of daniel carew’s debut production “fishes wishes.”
