Andrej Stech a.k.a. Esse is a DJ and producer from Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. He first collided with electronic music in 1997. After a short time of just listening to electronic music Esse decided to try DJing in 2002.

One year later he began creating his own music which he incorporated into his sets at his friend’s parties. In a short time these little parties grew into massive raves in his home country and abroad.

E S S E has no definite style of music as a DJ or as a producer. He tries to represent electronic music from different sides, while searching for a compromise between club music and music to chill to at home. As a DJ he took part in many Lithuanian and foreign festivals covering almost all of Eastern Europe.

We are very excited to bring you this release from Pedro Duarte. This release would have made my cousin Armando Gallop and others like Adonis, DJ Pierre, and Ron Hardy very proud.

Pedro does a nice job of fusing together both the old squechy late 1980’s sounds of Chicago acid house and the early 1990’s electro techno sounds and percussion of Detroit techno.

These are sounds that are very rare in today’s electronic dance music; which is heavily influenced by minimal techno and funky house sounds.
