… The Insane - das sind die beiden Musikproduzenten und DJ´s Daniel Goslar (Data Traxx) und Steven Reitz (Freakster). Daniels Aktivitäten als Musiker und Veranstalter begannen bereits Ende der 80er Jahre in seiner Heimatstadt Halberstadt, einem kleinen Provinzstädtchen im Grenzgebiet zur ehemaligen BRD. Nach der Wende spielte er zunächst als Drummer in der Hardcorepunkband The Punishment und war vor allem als Veranstalter von Punk, Hardcore, aktiv. Mitte der 90er Jahre entdeckte er dann die elektronische Musik für sich und veranstaltete zunächst eigene Technopartys …

Nueva referencia de teorema a cargo de Dejersey, artista de Victoria-Gasteiz, habitual de Ignored Records y Antirtmo, que despues de remezclar a B.E.R.E. en nuestra referencia numero 10, vuelve a la carga con un segundo trabajo.

“Mas Que Humo EP” lo componen 4 temas con muchisima personalidad y gran calidad sonora, en los que Dejersey utiliza sonidos orientados al minimal pero con estructura y mentalidad techno, cargados de atmosferas, pads y sonidos trabajados hasta la saciedad, el cual nos brindaran grandes momentos en la pista de baile.

En definitiva todo un artista y un trabajo que daran mucho que hablar.

¡Offaudio publica su referencia número 50 y cuenta ya con más de 4 años en la red!

Parecía algo imposible aquel 16 de Mayo de 2004, cuando Offaudio.com vio la luz. Nunca pudimos imaginar que un proyecto sin ánimo de lucro, sin ningún tipo de publicidad y que “regalaba” música se acabaría convirtiendo en uno de los netlabels de música electrónica más longevos y de mayor relevancia a nivel mundial.

La escena netlabel no tenia nada que ver con la actual, era una escena completamente underground donde el movimiento de la “música libre” era un completo desconocido. Encontrar artistas involucrados en este revolucionario concepto era también una tarea larga y tediosa. ¡Cuanto han cambiado las cosas!.Obviamente para mejor.

La escena actual es bien distinta: Los netlabels se han multiplicado y la calidad y cantidad de trabajos y artistas es infinitamente mayor. La licencia “Creative Commons” ya no es una desconocida, tanto es así que ya empieza a mezclarse con el “tejido legal” que acompaña a la industria musical.

En estos 4 años de vida, Offaudio ha crecido y se ha desarrollado como netlabel, aportando su propia visión y su forma de entender la música electrónica y en concreto la música Techno. Pilar fundamental de Offaudio.

Las cifras de Offaudio hablan por si solas: Más de 250.000 temas descargados, generando un tráfico de más de 140.000 Gigas a lo largo de 50 referencias. Referencias que han sido creadas por más de 35 artistas de 15 nacionalidades distintas. Y por supuesto todo de forma gratuita ya que Offaudio publica sus trabajos bajo Creative Commons, dando total libertad de copia y distribución, tal y como se especifica en la modalidad Creative Commons elegida.

Y para celebrar todo esto, hemos preparado una referencia especial: “I LOVE OFFAUDIO”, un homenaje a nuestro netlabel, a los artistas que lo forman y sobre todo a nuestro público, sin el cual nada de esto sería posible. Esta referencia especial, será publicada en 3 partes (50, 51 y 52), pero que formarán en conjunto una única referencia en la que quedará plasmada la diversa pero definida línea musical de Offaudio.

Para ello contaremos con la participación de los artistas que han publicado en Offaudio a lo largo de estos 4 años. Desde Dessben (España), que firmó nuestra primera referencia, hasta Kuniaki Takenaga (Japón) que ha firmado la número 49, pasando por artistas como Hd Substance, Mooz, Sr.Click, Kike Pravda, Sascha Müller y ¡muchos mas!

L_cio has been living music since he was a child. His mother has a degree in tubular organ (liturgics) e his father is a flute player. Immersed in notes, metrics, chords, he started playing the flute when he was seven.

He studied intensely until he was fourteen, registering sound journeys which shed from classical music. To listen to the musical work of L_cio is watching a scene. Music is free. It does not project - it gives impulse.

Audiofetish: The first contact with electronic music had Henry at the tender age of 10 years , when his cousin put in a Depeche Mode tape in the tapedeck. (A broken frame).

The love to DM is still to today. And then 1990, the Love Parade. 500 people, and all dance. This was his sound! It was followed by Clubs like e-werk, Bunker, Planet, Walfisch …

All these wonderful Berlin clubs. Fast developed the Interrese to electronic music, which later becoming a passion, and until today. 1989: the first “Computer” …DDR-Produkt to built itself. 1990: a Commodore VC-20 with 3k RAM extension.

The first Tracks in Basic. ) 1991: the first Technics MK II - the first LP’s 1991: a AMIGA 500 ) Protracker, a small Sampler,a Midikeybord. 1993: the first production. a TAPE! In a 80 pcs edition. 1996: the second production. a CD in a 100 pcs edition. “Magic”, all Tracks build complet with a Amiga 500 and the Protracker. 1996: The pc comes into my life.

Nach der interessanten ersten Veröffentlichung, folgt endlich der zweite Streich der Tonkultur-Berlin-Bande.

Die Zeichen-EP wird, wie auch schon die erste des jungen Netlabels, als kostenloser Download erhältlich sein, wobei das anspruchsvolle Cover nicht zu viel verspricht. Dieses Release hat einen klaren Freakster-Schwerpunkt mit Unterstützung aus den eigenen Reihen durch SCHWARZarbeit.

Der Titeltrack “Zeichen” gibt auch gleich eine deutliche Richtung vor. Pumpend, treibend und versehen mit einer deftigen Bassline. Sphärisch schrauben sich Strings nach oben um im richtigen Moment wieder einzusetzen. Peaktime! “Red Lights” hingegen besticht durch seinen Acid-lastigen Sound. Schräge Percussions und harmonische Klänge, wobei der Kickwechsel sein übriges tut.

“Aetsche Baetsche” ist der lustige Part im Bunde. Leadsounds verschoben im Raum, angetrieben von einer rollenden Bassline und Delay-umschlungenen Hi-Hats. SCHWARZarbeit steuert mit “Zero-Point-Nine” zuguterletzt noch seine Interpretation von After-Hour-tauglichen Sounds bei. Beat- und Bassline-lastiger Downtempo der wärmer nicht ins Ohr gehen könnte.

Die Crew von Tonkultur Berlin hat mit diesen vier Sahnestücken wiedereinmal eindrucksvoll bewiesen, dass sie in keine Schublade passen.
