Phasetech Music is a new netlabel created by Vladimir Mihajlovic aka Phasetech from Belgrade, Serbia. Edson Byer> Lançou-se como produtor no final de 2000, suas músicas fluem em um corpo atmosférico, deep e dark. É emblemático em sua sonoridade uma atitude techno underground.

Em sua discografia álbuns como: Fator de Flutuação, Em Casa e Manifesto Subjetivo tiveram lançamentos independentes. Já pelo selo B.E.C (Brazilian Eletronic Community) lançou três faixas: A New Force (Vol 1), Art (Vol 3), Siga-me (Vol 4).

Em seu processo de produção a observação, a reflexão, o capturar e o ser capturado, pelas tendências contemporâneas, fazem parte de pesquisas e experimentações de sutilizas tecnológicas, que entoam diferentes texturas em seus timbres. Suas influencias encontram-se também nas suas múltiplas parcerias, como por exemplo, a do projeto Rebel’s K, com o dj e produtor Maicon Villa, possui algumas outras faixas com Max Underson. Edson Byer é um dos idealizadores de um núcleo de produtores eletrônicos, chamado CAS (Canibais da América do Sul).

A cada produção de Edson Byer é uma tentativa de expressão viva, como um filme sem imagem, agenciada por máquinas binárias, porém não perdendo a sensibilidade e a abertura para um passeio em novos territórios, e o constante ensaio de uma reinvenção do techno já existente. Reinvenção essa com características atemporais.

Incredible vision and producing skills - it is the right way to describe third apperance of Terminus at our label. Mixing around ideas from many electronic styles - from techno to ambient - makes this release an unique masterpiece.

If you ask Terminus about most important individuals that inspired him at the beginning of his music life, he will mention Cristian Vogel at the first place. And the spirit of Brighton’s genius appears along the whole EP.

Also the idea of track titles (like Vogel’s “In Absolute Time” i.e.) must be regarded obviously as a tribute to Terminus’ mentor.

Ethernet’s first release came out from tanukidreams.

Brightly opening track “Orgonite” is what he calls “triple-time or waltz time” house. The EP turns into deeper side with “Midsummer High Jinks”, atmospheric ambient techno. “Whistleblowers” keeps its mood as fast and deep, didgeridoo-like synth appears in the latter half. Closing this EP is a Flow Dub version of “Orgonite”, completely non-beat and chill-out.

It’s online!!! ‘Acid For The Folk’ is now downloadable. So we presented the track list already, but now we can have a further look on the tracks. Let’s go:

1. Acid For The Folk: A very minimalist track. It’s produced with one drum computer, the TB-303 and one synth. The most tracks on this album are produced with a minimalist equipment, but this one was the first one Sebastian produced.

2. The Acid Guardian: In this track Sebastian tried again his minimalist feeling. Especially he wanted to give the TB-303 more presence.

3. Fine TB-303: A very groovy acid track. Only drum computer and the TB-303.

4. Multi-Task: A very old track in Sebastian’s track list. The original was produced many years ago, but now he reworked it for this release.

5. Line 4 Nine: One track has to be trance! ’cause Sebastian’s begining with electric music was trance and he will stay on it.

6. Acid Peak: Inspired by Air Liquide’s live performance on 16.02.2008 on the Further!-Event, he produced this track.

So we wish a very nice time with his new tracks!

A surprising right-about turn faces the receiver of the EP titled Dark Souls by Kev Willis, because after the more industrial and robust composition ’Pathwave’ issued on the netlabel’s first release - Dirty boys EP - now a completely new sounding welcomes us.

Instead of harsh metallic sounding, chiselled, sophisticated, more playful and well-known breaks appear, but all-in-all it can be named as an EP generating rather from click-minimal and electronica, which, however, without enough unicality, has a less powerful effect as a whole.

Dark Soul, the tensest track of the album, as the introductory one, is based on muted bass, and is an extremely monotonous, pulsating, and dark composition. The forwarding Mirage is a more classical minimal piece decorated with sunny, softer keyboard movements. However, Outer Sphere guides us to another world: it is a more rigorous, experimental work, with a striated sub-bass carpet of sounds that evokes COH.

Elemental, the most exciting and the final one of the release, is a clear electronica with its total poly-rhythmicality and ambient movements, which mixes the atmospheric and industrial effects in its most elegant way.
