We’ll receive finished remixes until September 1st. The most creative remixes, will be invited to take part on the jade ep, to be released in blaq records as part of phase two of the label, with bigger diffusion all over the world.

The first track (About-Face) is a bit slower hiphoppy electronik music whats something like a warm-up track. But the second(Flow)… There is the minute when everyone wants to throw out his/her brain! By the offensive basses there are stonehard beats, darky but not distressing techstep, nuskoolbreak-like sounding.

Real brainscrewing for nine minutes. The third (To Come To A Decision) are making the same feeling as the previous one, and you won’t marvel, if i say it’s just boosting it! It’s a fine piece of work.

It’s online!!! ‘Acid For The Folk’ is now downloadable. So we presented the track list already, but now we can have a further look on the tracks. Let’s go:

1. Acid For The Folk: A very minimalist track. It’s produced with one drum computer, the TB-303 and one synth. The most tracks on this album are produced with a minimalist equipment, but this one was the first one Sebastian produced.

2. The Acid Guardian: In this track Sebastian tried again his minimalist feeling. Especially he wanted to give the TB-303 more presence.

3. Fine TB-303: A very groovy acid track. Only drum computer and the TB-303.

4. Multi-Task: A very old track in Sebastian’s track list. The original was produced many years ago, but now he reworked it for this release.

5. Line 4 Nine: One track has to be trance! ’cause Sebastian’s begining with electric music was trance and he will stay on it.

6. Acid Peak: Inspired by Air Liquide’s live performance on 16.02.2008 on the Further!-Event, he produced this track.

So we wish a very nice time with his new tracks!

Hola!, tenía mucho trabajo acumulado tras varios días sin poder actualizar el blog y no tengo tiempo material para comentar demasiadas referencias pero con esta quiero hacer una pequeña excepción dado lo peculiar del lanzamiento.

Un trabajo (por su estilo) quizás un tanto raro aquí en MinimalNet pero eso mismo es lo que me ha llamado la atención. Esta es de las que le gustan a Hermético. Un LP en toda regla con vocales en cada una de las canciones y las lletras en español, pegadizas y con mensaje. Merece la pena escucharlo. El remix de “color mutacion” me pareció especialmente bueno.

Finally we start to put out some free audio samples this is our first release in this way, and we hope that can be useful to all dj’s and music producers around the globe. The ionic boy:

The Ionicboy is the musical project of the argentinian producer, Miguel Lara. The Ionicboy is an artistic personage. He is hidden in his laboratory and leaves on the nights, hypnotizing people with his music, with the purpose to unite the people to the rhythm of his beats. Although the project “The Ionicboy” is influenced by multiple musical styles, his style mainly oscillates between elektro, house and breakbeat.

Miguel Lara was born in 1978 in Patagonia, Argentina and he lived, from early age, in the city of Bariloche, one of the most austral cities in the world. From 14 years old he began to experiment with electronic music, perfecting his style with the years, being a pioneer when introducing the concept of the music done with machines on his city.

He experimented with many musical styles throughout years, begining with house, later hip-hop and hardcore, funky music, ambient, techno/breakbeat, and from 2001 to 2004,in parallel to its project “The Ionicboy”, he produced electro-rock for the bands “Vrektoor” and “Datura”. Together to with his musical facet, Miguel Lara has a strong creative career on the multimedia world that allows him to mix image, sound and interactivity into his productions, working in his own multimedia company: 3/4 LOCO.

In spite of making his shows in different clubs from Buenos Aires and Bariloche (Argentine), his place is firmly within the underground scene. From his beginnings, he was promoted idependently, outside of the mainstream media, but admired and supported by people, producers and djs. Finally in March 2006 The Ionicboy includes his two newest productions, a fusion between dark, house ,elektro sound with Reticent Recordings(USA), Edensonic Recordings(Spain) and Acktivism Recordings (Spain).
