DIOM: He started his way through music as an notoric freestyle rapper with his crew freak botique. For some years, nothing was more important than jumping on stages and holding micropones. Sadly he realised a strong negative change in the szene and he finally moved to his second love: Drum and Bass.

Producing his own tunes became very important and the first Dj gigs happen. But he still wasn¦t satisfied because the field of (basically electronic) music is so big - right? Electro, minimal, maximal…as wide as his taste in music is, so are the styles of his tunes.

He is also one part of Duo Debilo, together with m2n. They create tracks with the aim to involve the listener into the music.

Back with his promise; Twin Tower Connection is back to give us more abstract funk and as always he does it in fine fashion. Homegrown is more versitile than previous releases by T.T.C. The first three tracks are funky tech-house bombs that have heavy rolling basslines layered with dark shuffling melodies.

The forth track “Kopfsache,” is very experemental and is more influenced by breakbeat but fused very well with a nice minimal techno vibe. To bring things home, T.T.C. drops a nice head boppin’ trip-hop track at the end. featuring some nice slick melodies with a smooth bassline to boot.

Another experemental EP done in only a way Twin Tower can do it. Enjoy.

1. Alexander Fish
Alexander s’est doté d’un bagage techno des le début des années 90. Il a été promoteur et dj pour la scène techno française sous différent prête nom. En 1999 il signe son premier morceau Drum & Bass: c’est le début de nombreuses productions signées à travers le monde. Ainsi réussit-il à s’imposer sur la scène Drum & Bass française. Après toutes ces années, sa passion pour la techno est toujours présente avec des sonorités Deep et Dance Floor. Aujourd’hui Alexander produit un son aux influences de Détroit et de techno Old School.

2. Cryo
Cryo découvre le mixe aux platines en 1995. Ìl participe comme DJ aux nombreuses soirées du collectif “K-Bal” (techno), les “Automatik” (Rex-club) et à la tournée française “D-Mention”. En 1999, il rencontre MC Lou Valentino du label “Funky Tone Records”. Leur collaboration l’amène a être Dj et remixeur du label. Courant 2004, il s’associe avec le collectif “Omeostaz” et obtient la résidence mensuelle sur une péniche parisienne. Début 2007, il participe à la création du PaNet Label avec le collectif “Leechers” pour assouvir sa passion du son. Dans la même année il sort son premier EP sur le Netlabel “Stirsound”.

3. Richimed
Né en Sardina (Italie), sous Riccardo Medda, Richimed aka Elzian étudie la guitare et le piano. En 2003, il découvre la music électronique et s’initie aux logiciels et au mixer. A 19 ans, il s’installe à Milan ou il s’investit sérieusement dans la production. Aujourd’hui compositeur, il utilise des programmes et des midi contrôles. Richimed apprécie différents styles musicaux et puise son influence dans la minimal-techno, l’acid-jazz, le rock et l’expérimental.

4. sWoRm
sWoRm pratique le piano depuis 1998. Il étudia différents styles de musique comme le classique, le blues, le jazz et le piano bar. Ainsi il acquiert son jeu d’improvisation et son sens de l’harmonie. Il compose quelques jingle pour “Fun radio”. En 1997, il parts s’installer à Barcelone, Espagne où il devient DJ et organisateurs de soirées électroniques. Pendant 2 ans, Il sera critique musical sur www.butxaca.com (orienté techno). sWoRm produit et remixe sur ordinateur depuis 1995.
