Buenas, la música house y yo nunca nos hemos llevado demasiado bien, excepto el progressive house que en sus buenos tiempos (2002-2003) me gustó bastante, pero la vida da muchas vueltas y desde que me metí en el mundillo de los netlabels, seguramente por carencia, a veces la echo en falta. Por eso, entre otras cosas, de vez en cuando va bien encontrar alguna una referencia como esta. Destacable especialmente el sonido, muy bueno, y primer track, para mi gusto, el mejor.

Buenas, pues ya está aquí la cuarta referencia de Teorema, aunque por ahora siguen sin web, al más puro estilo maxisingle, de los de antaño, con versión original y varios remixes. Un trabajo que, por lo variopinto de sus remixes, hay que escuchar con tiempo para asimilarlo.

Yo me quedo con la versión original, extensa, detallista y con un desarrollo fantástico.. aunque el giro hacia los breaks que le dio Jesús también me ha gustado ya que es un género que me trae buenos recuerdos, quizás por la melancolía que imprime.

El productor Pontevedres y miembro del colectivo feelthetrip, David Granha, habitual dj tanto en la escena morracense, como en clubs de toda Galicia, es el encargado de firmar nuestra cuarta referencia. Despues de trabajar en sellos como Acid Milk (Suiza) y Frosch Label (Madrid) nos deleita con su primera referencia en Teorema,”Always Alone” que incluye los remixes de John Axiom, A.G.M. y Jesus F.

En esta ocasión David nos ofrece su faceta mas sutil y progresiva en un delicioso corte electrohouse con un atractivo bassline salpicado con misteriosas melodias y crujidos digitales, con los que consigue fundir al oyente en un viaje profundo y lleno de expresividad.

En cuanto a los remixes cabe destacar la calidad de los tres, desde el excelente toque minimaltechno del productor orensano John Axiom ,la pureza del corte mas house del coruñes A.G.M , y la originalidad de Jesus F., artista de la casa que debuta en el label con un track orientado al electrobreak.

Ufff madre mía, como suena esto!, si el chico de la portada es “Ian Asher”, que no lo sé, desde luego es para aplaudirle, ¿cómo se puede tener un sonido tan bueno siendo tan joven?!. “Szym” es una pequeña obra de arte y el corte que abre el ep, “kloeniklub”, no se queda atrás, que grande. Toda una lección en estas 2 canciones.

Buenas, esta reléase lleva dando vueltas por mi disco duro prácticamente una semana y hasta hoy no me decidí a añadirla. Si bien los 2 primeros tracks me gustan bastante, el tercero y el cuarto (por su estilo) podría decir que van en contra de mi religión jajajaja, pero a pesar de esto creo que finalmente compensa el compartirla con vosotros.
Por último, para ser justo, quiero hacer referencia al magnífico sonido que tienen las 4 canciones, un gran mastering, cristalino, de calidad.

Lee Fraged teams up with Pantal (aka dj Numark/Funxion) to create the detroit influenced, acid-tinged beats of ‘Love Machine’, a deep yet punchy tech track filled with a distinct luscious pad to give a melancholic touch and spur feelings of a mechanical-love-future. Too serious for you? Try the Double Trouble treat of two tracks.

L17 has a summer feel with its deep bass, dubby effects & and delayed vocal snippets. Fetish on the other side drives a deeper way, west coast influenced, with the percussion keeping the pace and the deep male vocals, Xerxes style, showing the way. Linny Berret finishes off the pack, on a housier tone, with ‘Deeper Luv’, a basic track with a 4 on the floor old-skool tempo and a fluffy bassline complete with subtle vocals and an exotic melody.

Melmono es uno de los artistas que mejor suena últimamente, además su estilo nos vendrá bien para desintoxicarnos un poquito y escuchar otros géneros un tanto olvidados hoy en día, como la música house. Eso en si mismo es de agradecer, pero lo que más llama la atención en sus canciones, aparte del sonido que a veces es realmente bueno, es que use vocales femeninos.

Este ep contiene algunos tracks que ya se habían publicado en el rnt020 hace unos días pero la mayoría son nuevos. Por último comentar que aunque no seáis muy fans de la música house os recomiendo escucharlo, es una pequeña joya y merece la pena.
