When Martin Müller and Holger Flinsch in 2006 decided to put their sounds and ideas together, their vision quickly developed into a complex suite of different motifs and tempers - all connected, all contributing to the striking organic eigenleben of the composition.

The concept of evolving derivation is now furthered in this compilation. Eleven artists (including some acquaintances of Stadtgruen) took on samples of the original track, altering and shifting them around to create completely new impressions out of the same material. A newly arranged Dubsuite.

Buenas, esta reléase se me pasó hace un mes cuando salió a la luz, pero no está de más añadirla ahora.

Rumpfunk lleva en reformas un tiempo pero aún así ha estrenado varios apartados y en uno de ellos, el llamado “Melacholic Electronic Series”, es donde catalogan el nuevo ep de Lagora. Una sección con un título muy descriptivo, desde luego perfecto para esta referencia.

Música electrónica que remarca la importancia de una bonita melodía, algo que últimamente “gracias” al minimal techno hemos olvidado, junto a un toque de música house, ambient, todo ello remezclado con la maestría habitual del alemán John Lagora.
