Watch kicks this EP off with a break beat flavor that evolves through the track into a reference to old school electro beats combined with a thick layer of noise elements.

Flying follows suit with the beats but pushes the limit on the noise side of thing before dropping into a nice sharp groove. Next comes Get House, which starts out a bit funky until the rhythms start to fall out of time here and there causing a slightly tilted feel.

Leggo’s View Before Buy Mix of Get House is surprisingly straightforward for him, but still holds just enough strange vibe under the surface.

Franco Bianco is from Argentina, but now is living in Switzerland. His music experimented a huge growing in the last years, due to the multiple works released in different labels and netlabels, making possible his positioning in the more and more saturated dance music scene.

His main argument is to be original when he face these tasks, very groovy and fresh minimal with percussions and samples going out from the current trendy minimal style, which will help us on the way through this hot summer.

Ein tiefer Basspuls mäandert zuverlässig durch sämtliche Stücke auf „Row By“ von New Delhi Fm. Er scheint uns den Weg zu weisen: durch die tiefen sinistren Täler aus Echo- und Filterschlieren, aus deren Umarmung es kein Entrinnen gibt.

Über einem kompakten Rhythmuskonstrukt entfalten sich großflächig angelegte Tracks, deren Beharrlichkeit und Stille (!) bisweilen an britischen Techdub der Neunziger Jahre oder an Hallucinator von Basic Channel erinnert.

Eine kluge Monotonie verleiht diesem Album einen Sog bar jeglicher Dramaturgie; den Hörer in einen Gleichmut ziehend, wie man ihn mitunter empfindet, wenn man seinen Blick auf den vom Wind bespielten Baumkronen ruhen lässt.

Back with his promise; Twin Tower Connection is back to give us more abstract funk and as always he does it in fine fashion. Homegrown is more versitile than previous releases by T.T.C. The first three tracks are funky tech-house bombs that have heavy rolling basslines layered with dark shuffling melodies.

The forth track “Kopfsache,” is very experemental and is more influenced by breakbeat but fused very well with a nice minimal techno vibe. To bring things home, T.T.C. drops a nice head boppin’ trip-hop track at the end. featuring some nice slick melodies with a smooth bassline to boot.

Another experemental EP done in only a way Twin Tower can do it. Enjoy.

We travel again to Lisbon and meet Ricardo Mestre, a so far undiscovered musician and graphic artist, who immediately carries us into his world full of playful melodies.

Thereby he uses only a minimum of technology, but produces nevertheless such beautiful intuitive musical landscapes, that it does not really matter if they work on a dance floor or not. The love lies in the details. And this brings up joy, happiness and reverie. Ricardo, who is also one of the resident artists of the Lisbon ” Noite CDR”, describes his music simply by the colours grey, pink and blue. We think, one could interpret much much more into it. Or, better yet, one could simply lay back and listen to it.

With this EP we are saying goodbye for the summer and will come back on September 1st. 2008, after an organizational relocation break. We wish you only the best up till then!.
